The applicant shall either be a retired or serving officer, not below the rank of Deputy General Manager or equivalent of another Bank/Financial Sector Regulatory Body.
IO shall be reporting directly to the Managing Director & CEO. In the absence of MD & CEO, he shall report to the Executive Director. He shall be the focal point for internal grievance redressal system in terms of Internal Ombudsman Scheme 2018 so that minimum number of complaints is escalated to Banking Ombudsman. IO will help in strengthening customer confidence in the internal grievance redressal mechanism as well.
